Over the past six months we have been ‘busy bees’ here at Educating Adventures developing an entire suite of ‘Tools and Resources’ for planning and running school trips. These have been developed based on research we have conducted and feedback we have received from teachers and local education authorities - the overall goal of making your job in planning and running a school trip as efficient as possible!
A big thanks goes out to Robyne, our School Resources Coordinator, for getting this project off the ground!
To celebrate we are offering two free resources:
1. ‘The 8 Most Costly Mistakes Teachers Make on International School Trips’
- This is a report which will save you time, embarrassment and worry, even if you have run trips before.
- It captures key practical steps to ensure safety, security for groups, and effective use of time for teachers
“I just read your report and will be taking the steps to ensure I too run a safe, relaxing tour” - Judy Bennet, Australia
2. ‘School Trip Planning Chart’ – this chart will:
- Allow you to see the process of planning a trip from start to finish, in one easy process diagram
- Let you reverse engineer your trip and get an idea of required timelines and tasks
- Gives you the ability to visually sow people the plan “a picture tells a thousand words” rather than talk dates and actions that people will forget
“This School Trip Planning Chart is first class - from start to finish you can see exactly how your school trip will fall into place!” - Nigel James, United Kingdom
Why are we giving you these tools for free?
Because they will make your life easier! We are positive no matter what trip you choose to do these resources will be invaluable for saving time and avoiding the common (and some not so common) mistakes many teachers make. We want you to have fun leading school trips!
